At Lonestar Films, movies aren't made with money alone, they are made with good intent too, because we strive to produce great memories that last a lifetime.
LONESTAR FILMS is an obsession, a collective obsession of artisans who love to tell stories that eventually get made into films, web series, documentaries and short films. The inception of this obsession started with our brightest star, Mr Pankaj Mamtora (Founder and President), whose singular vision was to bring together a tribe of movie specialists and enthusiasts that can tell and translate unique stories into engaging, entertaining and educational viewing.
Mr. Pankaj Mamtora reflects the pride and go-it-alone spirit that is still part of the Texas way of life. Born in a small town named Deesa in Gujarat, India, Mr Mamtora pursued his career in healthcare and moved to the USA in 2006, swiftly expanding and creating his mark in the field of healthcare, IT, construction, real estate and wealth management.
Keeping his passion alive in creative media and films, (Being fed up with the same old stereotype stories which none of us can relate to) Mr Mamtora founded Lonestar Films in the USA with its HQ in Houston, Texas. His love for Bollywood films brought him to ‘Amchi Mumbai’, launching Lonestar FIlms Pvt. Ltd. in India with a vision of making films that are not cliche stories and bringing a different perspective in creating the great art form that people can relate to and stories that not only entertain but engage because they are unique in their own way.
Mr Mamtora has been engaged in philanthropy work. His selfless work has earned him one of the most prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for his volunteering and community service by the President of the United States Of America.
